The announcement comes as a surprise, you would think they would have announced something this major several days in advance. As reported by us late last month, the PlayStation Edition was submitted for review by Sony before the Xbox One Edition was by Microsoft. It seems 4J Studios and Sony worked together to fix all the bugs in time for launch.
Current owners of the PS3 or Xbox 360 Editions will be able to upgrade to the new versions for just $4.99 for a limited time. To be qualified, you will have needed to buy it on the PlayStation Network/Xbox Live or played the disc version on your online account.
No news for the PS Vita Edition yet, but last time 4J said back in August it hadn't even been submitted for testing. Let us know in the comments if you plan to buy the new editions!

commentsI'd love to buy them, but I only have PS3 and Xbox 360… but YYYAAAYYY!!!!!!
ReplyI have a 2009 wii, so be glad. My wii takes 2 1/2 minutes to start up, several more to get a game going, and not to mention it crashes 90% of the time when I start a game.
