But the best selling apps and games? Well no suprise - Minecraft is still the king. 'Heads Up!' took the title of most downloaded paid iPhone game, with Minecraft taking second place. But on the iPad, Minecraft is still first place - in front of other games like the Five Nights At Freddy's titles and Geometry Dash.
Although this isn't a suprise by the slightest stretch of the imagination, it still preaches how much Minecraft has become ingrained in gaming history. The last time Mojang shared Pocket Edition sales was back in January of this year, when it was at 30 million copies sold. I wouldn't be suprised if it doubled since then.

commentsWow...
ReplyIt took them only 3 years to become the bestselling app of 2015.
ReplyOh my GOSH! Did you see the new MCPE trailer? Looks so much more epic then the ones they had a few years ago!
ReplyI think it's because they changed it from a mediocre version of MC into something that's quite fleshed out and getting more impressive all the time. :)
ReplyAndroid is similar. According to Google Play right now, it's the #2 paid app overall and the #1 game. Looks good! :)
Replyit was confirmed that at 0.14 you can put skulls of mobs in your head in mcpe
ReplyDoes that mean Pumpkins too?
ReplyGuess you are right. When I got it it was kind of lame...
ReplyI got it for 10 cents many years ago on a Google sale. It wasn't very good, and surely didn't make me like Minecraft. The PC and Xbox made me like it. :) I don't play PE a lot, but on a slow night at work, it's awesome to have handy.
