Minecraft PE passes $20 million in sales, developers will answer questions

mcpe_wolf

Today on their blog, Mojang announced that Minecraft Pocket Edition has passed USD $20 million in sales. If our numbers are correct, that means that approximately 2.8 million copies have been sold between the Amazon App Store/App Store/Google Play. Prices for Minecraft PE vary from country to country, so the sales could be slightly lower or higher.

Mojang said on their blog, "As I mentioned in the Xbox 360 Edition post, we’re extremely grateful to all players for your dedication and creativity. Without that, Minecraft wouldn’t be anywhere near as significant as it is today." To celebrate $20 million sales, the developers created a thread on Reddit asking people for Minecraft PE questions, and they will answer as many as they can on a livestream on April 14th.

You can see both the post from Mojang's blog and the Reddit thread at the source links below. And we will make a post with all the answers shortly after the livestream is concluded next Monday.
